It's Canvas Salsa Dance Party month! If you haven't gotten your tickets yet, join in for this incredibly fun and social salsa dance party. It's a total blast, and coming at you mid month, so get your tickets today. It's on Saturday, Oct. 15th, at the Canvas Gallery (1200 9th Avenue, SF), and Beginning lessons are at 8pm, dancing 9pm on. Woohoo!

oh, and Jillians in the Sony Metreon has now switched to a bi-weekly schedule, but this month, Live bands like Conjunto Allegre on October 7th, and Avance on October 21st, mean that you should go check it out. This has always been a fun venue, and they have a new website at salsafrisco.com. Don't miss it!

Towards the end of the month Alf and Alf and Aykut are bring you a super scary Halloween party, at none other than the Westin Hotel (Swanky) right off of Union Square, with five venues of fun, including of course, our beloved salsa room (the most happening place at the party - always). :) You can get two types of tickets, regular tickets and VIP tickets (with open bar and skylounge) - whatever you do, get SOME tickets, and join us for this awesome event.

And finally, Cafe Cocomo has a scary Halloween party coming your way at the end of the month - it's on a Monday night, and this will undoubtedly be an amazingly cool party - and tons of fun. Multiple bands, and a spooky evening await!

Oh, and if that wasn't enought, El Gran Combo (one of, if the not THE biggest, longest running band in the biz) is playing at Roccapulco at the end of the month. more on this later - but they are the REAL Deal, and unquestionably worth seeing! hot-dance-dancing.com for your dance needs.
