Ok, it's another non-salsa post! Living in San Francisco california, especially during the crazy last 7 or so years we've had, Real Estate sales and investment seems to be the job of-the-hour. Everyone I know is a Real Estate agent, a real estate investor, or fast on their way to becoming both. This is it - the quick path to riches. And from the recent results of several of my friends, they may be right!

Every single person I know whom has bought a home in the last 10 years has made signficant money from it. The days of stagnant growth and home depreciation are, it seems, far behind us. Home sales, and prices, continue to grow astronomically - and there just seems to be no end in sight. If you haven't purchased a home already, most home prices have put the single, modest, dwelling well out-of-reach of most people. Even couples, with two jobs, could find it hard to afford a house in this market. And yet, people keep buying!

So, what are you waiting for? Perhaps you're already an agent. Own a home and working on your second? Sitting back and watching your home appreciate? Have 10 rental properties and looking for more? Or, like many of us, gazing out the window, wondering how prices ever got so out of control. On the verge of making a move - but not quite there yet.
